Transport & Environment (2020). ​Unlocking Electric Trucking in the EU: recharging in cities

This a study just published by Transport & Environment (Brussels, Belgium) by Lucien Mathieu, Juliette Egal and Thomas Earl, analysing the potential impact of using trucks powered by electricity for shorter distance haulage. Due to the high intensity of short-distance freight flows in European cities, electric vehicles can potentially play a large role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and other negative externalities.
