In June 2020, less than a tenth the usual number of air passengers

In June 2020 around half a million passengers travelled via the five national airports in the Netherlands. This is 93% less than the 7.5 million passengers in June 2019. Also, the volume of air freight was slightly lower with 122000 tonnes in June 2020 compared to 131500 in June 2020. In June 2020, 122000 tonnes of freight were handled at the airports, compared to 132000 tonnes a year earlier. The number of aircraft movements fell in the same period (month of June 2020) by 68% to 18700.
