Publication of North Sea Mediterranean Corridor - Fourth Work Plan
European Coordinator for the North Sea - Mediterranean TEN-T Core Network Corridor, Professor Péter Balázs has just announced that the 4th Work Plan of the North Sea – Mediterranean Corridor has been approved by all Ministers concerned, and published. Professor Balázs has released a message to coincide with the publication of the work plan, in which he calls for continued efforts to put transport at the centre of national recovery plans, as a way to increase sustainable mobility and restart the economy. Despite the uncertainty created by the COVID crisis, he reasserts that the priorities identified in the work plan are still the right ones, especially greening the transport system by promoting the use of rail and inland waterways.
