High capacity waterway enquiry launched on Bray-Nogent

The widening of the Upper Seine between Bray and Nogent to a gauge of 2,500 tonnes will increase the traffic of cereals, aggregates and containers. The project is gaining momentum, benefiting from European funding as part of the Seine-Nord canal project. The public inquiry concerning the upgrading of the river link between Bray-sur-Seine and Nogent-sur-Seine will finally be held from January 18 to February 18, 2021. The aim is to increase the levels of grain and container transport by waterway.
