First Half Growth in Traffic for Haropa

One month after the merger of the ports of Le Havre, Rouen and Paris, HAROPA has increased its traffic levels compared to the first half of 2020.

Maritime traffic reached 40 million tonnes of goods (+6.5%). Liquid bulks were stable at 18 Mt (affected by cyclical decline in petroleum and refined products, mainly due to technical shutdowns, but a steady increase in chemical products and gaseous hydrocarbons), containers increased by 43% in tonnage (to 14.6 Mt) and by 40% in TEU (to 1.5 mTEU ).

Activity at the Le Havre ro-ro terminal also continued to grow: 156,000 vehicles were handled in the first 6 months of the year, an increase of +48%.
